These terms cover listing a stand on The Hidden Root. They describe exactly how the system works today.
What it costs
$10 per month, per stand location. If you list two stands publicly, that's two separate $10/month subscriptions. There are no commissions, no per-sale fees, no tiers, and no ads. Applicable taxes, if any, are calculated at checkout.
Drafts are free
You can create a stand, add products, photos, hours, payment methods, and set your privacy mode without paying anything. A stand stays private until it has its own active subscription.
What has to be finished before you subscribe
A stand needs the basics complete — a name, a town, a location or written directions matching your privacy mode, and at least one product — before it can go live. The dashboard shows exactly what's still missing.
When your stand goes public
Your stand becomes publicly visible once your first payment succeeds and the readiness checks pass. That usually happens within seconds of checkout.
Recurring billing
The subscription renews automatically every month on the same card until you cancel. Each stand is billed on its own cycle.
If a payment fails
We start a 5-day grace period. During grace your stand stays publicly visible and we'll show a payment notice on your dashboard so you can update your card. If the payment still hasn't succeeded when the grace period ends, the stand stops appearing publicly. Your stand and everything in it — products, photos, hours, announcements, reviews — are kept intact, and the stand is not reset to a draft. Once payment succeeds again, it becomes publicly visible again.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, so your stand stays public until then. After that it stops appearing publicly, and again nothing is deleted. Payments already made are not refunded except where required by law. You can resubscribe later and your stand's content will still be there.
Suspension
If a stand breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines, we may suspend it. A suspended stand stops appearing publicly. Suspension is a policy action and is separate from billing — it does not cancel your subscription or issue a refund by itself. Contact us if you believe a suspension was a mistake.
Your responsibilities as a seller
Keep your listing accurate, including today's availability. Follow the laws that apply to what you sell. Honor the payment methods you list. Maintain a reasonably safe place for visitors. Don't post other people's photos or content without permission.
Reviews about your stand
You'll see reviews about your stands after they've been approved. You cannot approve, edit, or delete reviews, and you won't see who reported anything. If a review is inaccurate or breaks the guidelines, flag it and an administrator will look at it.
Changes
We may change these terms or the price with at least 30 days' notice, and price changes take effect on your next renewal after that notice.
